Dress code

Garden Formal

Think suits (the tie is optional, though we won't stop you) and midi or floor-length dresses in soft, natural tones — the colours of the valley in late summer.

The ceremony is on the lawn, so block heels or flats will save you from sinking into the grass. Evenings cool down quickly after sunset: bring a wrap or jacket.

  • Block heels or flats for the lawn
  • A wrap or jacket for after sunset
  • Sunglasses for the golden-hour ceremony

Colours we love

  • Sage
  • Olive
  • Champagne
  • Terracotta
  • Dusty blue
  • Taupe

Kindly avoid

  • White & ivory
  • Neon brights

Good to know

A few gentle notes

Important

  • The ceremony begins at 16:00 sharp — please be seated by 15:45.
  • The ceremony is outdoors on the lawn; the reception is indoors in the Barrel Hall.
  • The estate is a working farm: please don't wander into the vineyards.

Unplugged ceremony

We're having an unplugged ceremony. Please keep phones and cameras away until we've said "I do" — our photographers have it covered. After that, snap away and share your photos with us!

Children

We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults-only — with the exception of our flower girl, our ring bearer and children named on your invitation.

The forecast for 26 August
